Anytime the lead actress becomes my favorite part of the movie…. it probably means that there wasn’t much else to that said movie.

Well, for Tron Legacy, there was a little more going on, they had great graphics and special effects, but unfortunately for most of us, they forgot to also write a story.

Olivia Wilde in hot neon leather was pretty much the highlight of Tron Legacy. Sorry to say.

I was actually hoping for much more, but in the end, it really felt as if the writers couldn’t think of anything more futuristic than the “future” that was originally envisioned years ago, when the first Tron movie came out.

Also, the Darth Vader resemblance of the new Tron is just too… well… un-Jedi-like.

Tron was a good guy, who in this movie, crossed over to the dark side, only to again, find the good in him at the end and revert back to the side of Yoda (in this case, Flynn).

Furthermore, Tron with the new black helmet and breathing funny sounds, really just reminded me too much of Luke Skywalkers father (sorry for that Star Wars spoiler in there too….) Darth Vader! NOOOOOOOOO!

Anyway, Tron Legacy was sort of entertaining, but really not worth seeing in the theaters with the whole extra $$$ for 3D tickets and all. This is one legacy that I would recommend you just wait for on DVD… or just look at the hot Olivia Wilde Tron photos.
