They use this book to try and prep them not to have a melt down after they've been thrown out into the street. I had this experience and later found out that many medium to large companies also use this book as their "ether cloth over the mouth and nose" of their doomed employees. Please know that “Who Moved My Cheese” by Dr. Spencer Johnson is a book many companies use to hand out to their employees right before there’s a big lay off.
